Your data stays on your machine

Trace makes no outbound network calls except three documented operations: opt-in update checks, pricing table fetch, and install verification. No telemetry. No analytics. No anonymous metrics. Verify it yourself.

Local-first storage

All session data lives in a SQLite database on your machine. Nothing leaves your filesystem.

Verifiable behavior

Run Wireshark, Little Snitch, or opensnitch. Confirm zero undocumented network calls. Trust through verification, not promises.
